Voice Description

I have a very versatile voice. My regular (normal) voice is deep and resonating. I am a singer and have taken vocal and diction classes for seven years. I can speak with a cartoon character voice (close to mickey mouse or stitch from Lilo and Stitch). I can also change my voice to sound like a small child. Even though I do not sound like a particular senior, I can change my voice to sound much older with less breath support. My most popular voices are the "mickey mouse" sounding voice and my regular announcing voice.

My Voice Experience

Imagine teaching a class of high school students and begin speaking like stitch from lilo and stitch or mickey mouse. During my teaching career, I have done this to gain everyone's attention (and it really worked). Students are usually brutally honest with their teacher. They told me that I should do voice overs or even cartoon characters. Even though I do not have prior jobs in this area, I do have the talent to do it.

My Training

My college degree is a masters in music education. During this time, I took many diction and voice classes. Many of my sounds are just natural and I have had them for many years. My voice is naturally resonating.
