Voice Description
My voice is generally warm and deep. I can sound very "urban". I can go even deeper for very serious reads, and more shrill for up-tempo exctiing sports projects. Or I can be very relaxed and professional for simple, somewhat elegant reads of corporate and professional copy.

My Voice Experience
Through six years in radio and 25 years as a TV sportscaster, I've done countless voiceovers of every kind. Of course, doing sports related VO's is like second nature at this point. But just to heighten my skills, I've also taken classes in voiceover and audiobook narration, and continue to also take acting classes as well.
My Training
I graduated from Temple University in PHiladelphia with a BA degree in Communications/Radio-TV-Film.
I have studied acting in Philadelphia, most notably at the Actor's Center and Freedom Theatre, and in New YOrk, at HB studios. I've also studied voiceover in New York with Charles Micheal and Edge Studios.

Additional Skills
I've been nominated for Emmy awards 9 times during my TV career, and won the Emmy for Best Sports Anchor (Mid-Atlantic Region) in 2008 and 09.
It's really all about telling stories, whether you are anchoring, acting, doing voiceover or narration.
I also like to do things for those less fortunate, and I love reading books, so it's only natural that I also read/record books on tape for Reading For the Blind and Dyslexic.
