I am a 20 year radio veteran, whose focus has been production for my entire career. I was fascinated with announcing since I was a kid, impersonating commercials from TV and Radio. I started as a musician, but when I realized roadies weren't coming any time soon, I decided to take the jump into radio at the suggestion of friends and associates who said I had a 'radio voice.' I have never looked back. But while the on-air work has become less satisfying, voice overs and production get more and more rewarding, both creatively and financially.
In the last 20 years, I've worked on the top morning show in the target demo (Men 25-54) at KCLB in Palm Springs, plus successful regular on-air weekday shifts in Modesto and Albuquerque (and another top rated morning show, on KIOT). I continued writing, recording, and producing spots at all locations, and earning the position of Production Director or Assistant Production Director at each radio group.
I've won 7 New Mexico Broadcasters Association awards for my voice work, production, PSAs, and copywriting, and continue to voice TV and radio spots for car and RV dealerships around the country at local agencies.
This year, I starred as the lead in the Sid Guy Private Eye series of full-cast audio books from Siren Audio Studios, and have also had supporting roles in other audio books in their library, available on Amazon dot com. Another Sid Guy production is scheduled for 2011.
I attended the Academy of Radio Broadcasting in Huntington Beach, CA, graduating with honors.
During my decade with Clear Channel, I wrote and produced thousands of spots for radio, TV, and the web. I also had the honor of doing a creative seminar with the legendary Dick Orkin. I've also been lucky to work with various mentors in my radio career that have given me the experience and confidence to grow in the areas of voice, production, and copy interpretation. Direct radio advertising gave me the chance to be creative in voice work and copywriting.
Also, I've been a musician for 35 years, playing guitar and producing music throughout, going from a Fostex X-15 cassette 4-track, all the way through SAW, Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, and Logic Studio for both music and radio productions. I actively record, produce, and play music on a regular basis.
I'm running an iMac with Logic Studio and a Line 6 UX-8 digital interface. Mics include AKG Preception 200, MXL V57M, Shure SM58, AKG C1000S, and others, depending on the needs of the session.

I can write, record, and produce quality jingles to your specifications. Music production examples available upon request.
