My Voice Experience
My early experiences were singing and acting my way through High School and summer stock theatre. Lots of musicals and comedies, Great Fun! I was always singing (being the Bass you're in great demand)-from Barbershop Quartets to Chorales to contemporary jazz and blues.
While studying Acting at UConn, I got interested in Radio Announcing. I graduated from CSB in 1980, and was personally taught by "Bud Stone" himself. Talk about old time radio!
I have been in and out of the radio biz for years in all capacities, done a thousand radio spots in CT and MASS, some industrial work for a major insurance company (training video voice-overs-blah,blah). I have also done some TV spots (voice only) and I have been the show announcer for the U.S. Figure Skating Association, so I have arena experience as well.
Now I am finishing up construction of my professional home studio, set to be up and running May 1st, 2009. I will be available for work again this summer, after a series of medical issues keeping me sidelined for the last two years.
