My Voice Experience
My formal voice over work began when I became director of advertising and public relations for the world famous Apollo Theater. I wrote, produced and recorded weekly campaigns for stars such as James Brown, Richard Pryor, Redd Foxx, The Temptations,Barry White, etc.
I've done numerous public service, radio and television in connection with youth programs produced by TUDAY Ministries (please see tuday.net)
Most recent narration was for SAVE THE BRAVE, documentary produced in connection with sick & dying 911 Responders.
My Training
My voice became familiar on New York City radio and television stations in the mid 1960's. I appeared on local shows (Wonderama/Alan Burke) and with Johnny Carson as a guest on the Tonight Show. My broadcast presence began during the riots of 1968 when I was a correspondent for various NY radio stations in New York, Roxbury,Mass. Newark, NJ and Tampa, Florida. Additional broadcast exposure followed my selling Ringling Bros. Circus their 1st Black act for their 100th edition. I interviewed Richard Nixon and Eugene McCarthy at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's funeral for WINS radio in New York.

I can create, write, produce and record campaigns Was most recently executive director of the Congressional Entertainment Caucus for the US Congress. Among other duties made presentations to Halle Berry and Barbara Walters on behalf of Congress when they received their stars on the Hollywood WALK of FAME at the invitation of Hollywood's honorary Mayor, the late Johnny Grant.
