After almost 49 years as a radio newscaster and over 20 years as an air show announcer, I can deliver just about any style you wish. I know how to make people listen to what you have to say.

My experience has shown that a voice talent must grab the listener's attention within the first few seconds, cause them to instantly develop a mental picture of the speaker and then hold that attention through the rest of the message. You must leap out of the speaker, grabbing them by the ears and mind.

Paul Harvey has always been one of my idols. When I grow up, I want to be just like him!

My Voice Experience

Voiced a human resources training video for aircraft mechanics, videos for in-house use at Xerox in Rochester and have voiced a number of air show videos.

Emceed the roll out of the Eclipse Very Light Jet, including writing the script for that event.

Emceed introduction of Lincoln Aviator at Air Venture in Wisconsin, writing the script approved by Ford, before a crowd of about 50,000 people.

In 2008, I was honored to be selected to introduce two of the films shown at the Fly In Theater sponsored by Ford at Air Venture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and in 2009, was tapped by Ford to narrate the premier of the "Wings vs Wheels Challenge" between two air show aircraft and two Ford Shelby GT Mustangs at that same event. They brought me back in 2010 to once again narrate the "Wings vs Wheels Challenge." I was also the announcer for the introduction of the Ford 2011 Explorer at Air Venture in 2010.

I have done numerous voice-overs for a wide variety of things including videos, signature stuff for radio stations, industrial videos and production pieces for use during air shows. My wife and I are the only husband-wife air show announcing team in North America and have been doing that as a side-line for over 20-years.

My Training

My training consisted of the good luck to work with some true radio professionals from the time I started while in high school. Each person I have worked with has provided new insights in how to entertain people with my voice. That and many years of experience as part of a top-rated morning news team.

My Studio Equipment

My home set-up consists of a desk top computer that I built. It is extremely fast and powerful.

I use a Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme audio card, a Shure microphone that is pre-amplified and process and record the audio with Adobe Audition. That program also came with a loop library that can be used for music production.

Additional Skills

My interests are many and varied. I'm one of those people who just has to know how things work...or why they don't!

As a licensed, although inactive, pilot and air show announcer, I have broad aviation knowledge.

My long years as a newscaster mean I have extensive knowledge of government, education and general "people" issues.

Frequently, I've been asked to act as a keynote speaker on a wide range of subjects.

A veteran of military service (Three years in the US Army)and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. I am well versed in all things military and in veterans affairs.
