My Voice Experience
A combined 15 years doing an afternoon radio show in New York City at WQHT and WKTU. My on-air name is Broadway Bill Lee. I also have a combined 7 years in San Francisco at the legendary KFRC and I anchored The KMEL Morning Zoo.
As chief announcer twice in New York City, I was able to do a large volume of in-house commercials, on-air live reads and endorsements; as well as ad agency campaigns.
My Training
Believe it or not, in the last 10 years my greatest source of voice technique and learning dialects has come from doing a phone-actvie program. New York is truly a melting pot and collection of natural characters, immigrants and out-of-work actors. Since childhood, my ability to mimic what I hear has been perceived as entertaining.
Formally, I attended Cleveland State University and The Ohio School of Broadcasting.
I also played and sang in rock bands growing up in Cleveland, Ohio.
