Voice Description

I specialize in cartoon type voices, ranging from deep (Yogi Bear), to high pitched (Munchkin like) I am considered a good mimic, and do a pretty good Arnold Schwartzenneger, Grandpappy Amos, Elvis, and even Pee Wee Herman, so my voice is very versatile. I can sing like an old time crooner,do a pretty good Louis Armstrong,and can also sing like the Chipmunks! I can hold a tune while singing, but since I like to "mimic", I tend to sing better in another characters voice!

My Voice Experience

I have been doing voice characterizations since I was 5 years old, but never "professionally", until the past few years when I have done some Elvis impersonations at a couple of church dances. I have served as an emcee for community Concerts and events, hosted a local cable TV show, and been a guest speaker for Service clubs, so I have had experience in front of audiences. I have always been told that I do great impersonations, but have not been paid to do them, and would like to have the opportunity to showcase my talents to others!

My Training

I have not had formal training, just 50 years of experience mimicking voices and learning how train my voice for a vast range of sounds.I have also been doing Elvis on stage for fun the past 4 years.

I also hosted a local cable TV show for my church in Michigan for 2 years, and have appeared on a variety of Radio shows as a representative for various hotels and resorts that I worked for.

My Studio Equipment

I work closely with Midnight Production studios here in Twin Falls, and they have all of the latest equipment for which to produce my voice work needs. I do not have much knowledge of audio engineering.

Additional Skills

I have been a professional in the hospitality industry for over 35 years, and have served as spokesman for various hotels and resorts, so am familiar with TV and radio production. I have appeared on local cable TV programs, Radio talk shows, voiced commercials and served as emcee at various events. I understand stage presence, timing, production routines, and other nuances related to the entertainment industry.
