My Voice Experience
I have worked in the broadcasting field for over five years. In that time I have worked at two different radio stations. At both stations I had a live airshift. I worked the afternoon slot and also the drive home slot. I also had a live request show on friday nights. At both stations when my airshift was over I did production work. I have recorded numerous commericals that played over the airwaves. I also did a lot of live broadcasts from area locations. I have been asked to emcee several events. I have always enjoyed the production aspect of the broadcasting field. There is just something about taking a piece of copy and bringing it to life.
My Training
In high school I took a broadcasting class which was offered. The class taught me a little about radio and television. My teacher told me he thought I had a lot of talent. He told me if I pursued this I could make a good career out of it. This was something I was interested in doing. So after I graduated from high school I attended Brown Instute in Minnapolis, MN. While there I studied all aspects of broadcasting. I graduated, and earned an Associate of Applied Science degree. From there I was hired by my first radio station. At that first station I had a live air shift. I also over saw the running of the another stataion which was automated. I produced commericals when my air shift was over. I stayed at that station for around 2 years. I felt it was time to move on. I had really improved myself working there. I was hired by a bigger station. While there I did a lot of live remotes from area locations. I had a live air shift at that station as well. I continued to do commericals for my new station. I stayed there for over 2 and a half years. I decided it was time to make a go of it on my own.

Additional Skills
I have a pro tools based home recording studio. I can produce the work and send it out as a mp3, a wav file or overnight a cd. I also have a cable modem for high speed internet access. All of this makes for a very short turn around time. Depending on the length of the project I can have it done in one day.
