After spending 35 years in small market radio, I have done just about everything. Most of those years were spent as morning show host and main copy writer and commercial producer. As a result, I've done all kinds of commercials as both narrator and as characters in multi-voice productions - often providing all the voices.
I am a winner of a North Carolina Association of Broadcaster's production award.

State University home football and men's basketball games.
I am a musician and avid reader and science-fiction fan, a husband, father and grandfather. I enjoy the great outdoors and have been known to take an unexpected turn down a road just to see where it goes.
I learned from the school of hard knocks, doing the job every day, day in and day out, becoming better and better over the years. Small market radio gives you a much greater opportunity to take risks and develop techniques and voices, and I took full advantage of those chances. In addition to radio work, I spent 5 years at WLNN-LP, better known as the Mountain Television Network, and learned how to shoot and edit video, on Final Cut Pro. As someone who spent a lot of years responsible for the computers that ran these stations' automation systems, and as computers became more involved in the actual recording process, replacing tape, I have learned the technology as the technology advanced. I am also a guitarist and bass player, and could even provide some simple original music to certain projects.
I record on Adobe Audition CS6 running on a Windows 7 64bit system.
I also use Audacity and Reaper
I use an Audio-Technica AT-2035 microphone
Tascam US 144 mk II digital interface
and various digital effects/processing software
No matter what project I voice, I am always open to making changes to be sure you are satisfied with the product you receive. I have done this for many years, both in the broadcast industry and other projects, and the most important thing is that the client (you) are happy with what you are paying for. I also am not hesitant to take on lower budget projects, and will still give you a high quality product. The clients that I listed above continue to contact me for additional work, indicating that they are satisfied with my performances and feel that what I offer is valuable. I'd like the chance to prove that to you.
