Voice Description
Warm and engaging for voiceovers and readings, professional for presentations, with regional appeal. My Southern roots can show themselves or they can be suppressed altogether. Whether high-energy soothing, fluency in business-speak or French, it's a rare day when someone doesn't suggest that I "should be in radio because you have such a great voice."

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Think of a middle-age businessman or a Southern good ol' boy. Monsieur leFrancais, old guy, or professorial. I know all these personas first-hand. People say that I remind them of Joel Osteen or the "happy little cloud" painter.
My Voice Experience
I've delivered stand-up training to thousands of people and been interviewed in French for public television nationwide. In addition, I've hosted a regularly-scheduled program of classical music on public radio, and narrated on-line training programs.
My Training
I finally ended my formal schooling with a Doctorate, and then used it as a corporate trainer for 30 years. Now as a professor in a graduate business school (a real one, not on-line), it occurs to me that my livelihood has depended on speaking.
