Voice Description
I am capable of numerous "senior personality" voice characterizations such as Walter Brennen and Gabby Hayes. I can also project a fast, powerful, stereotypical "radio voice". My narrations are usually airy and smooth eminating from an upper baritone. I am well versed at immitating Afro-American vocal inflections as well as varied Anglo accents. I immitate several US regional accents from deep South to Eastern seaboard. I can read Spanish fairly fluently with rehearsal.

My Training
The vast majority of my training has been "hands-on" although I did have four years of vocal training with my church choir when I was younger. I spent quite a bit of time in the company of my cousins (I come from a performing family) learning musical instruments and some of the finer points of singing with a member of the "Sky King" rock group which featured Chris and Darrius Brubeck. I also have had the opportunity to learn many recording techniques while involved in studio projects.

Additional Skills
I have been around music and live performance most of my life and worked with many professional performers from Don Potter (producer for "The Judds" and guitar player for Chuck Mangione), Stu Perry (drummer for "Spirit"), Ricky Skaggs, and Jimmy Rabbitt, to Gary Lunn (bass player/producer for Billy Rae Cyrus and Michael W. Smith). I have been involved in this business for over 40 years and have a very broad base of experience.
