My Voice Experience

I began voice overs four years ago. My talent was discovered by one of the leading voice-over companies in Virginia Beach, VA. I have recorded commercials for local media organizations and I have been recruited as a voice for the regional radio commercial of a national advertiser.

My Training

I have a BA in journalism and more than 15 years of experience in print and online media, as well as experience in other other mediums. (In one position, I was responsible for my company's media buys.) I have been coached by one of Virginia Beach's leading voice-over companies. I am energetic and articulate, a characteristic honed by my participation in Toastmasters International. I have been a reporter for the largest daily newspaper in Virginia, The Virginian-Pilot, and for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, one of the largest newspapers in the country.

I have been mistress of ceremonies for events attended by more than 300 people and those that have included dignitaries, public officials, "local personalities" and national celebrities such as May May Ali, daughter of the legendary prize fighter, and Judge Glenda Hatchett, star of the syndicated "Judge Hatchett" television show.
