My Voice Experience

I am just starting out, so I have only had some commercial readings.
I am a volunteer speaker for several cancer organizations so I go out and do public speaking, for these organizations to name a few, Karmanos, gilda's club, american cancer society, immerman angels out of chicago. I have been doing this since 1994 in Detroit Michigan and in the metro area's.

My Training

seminars for speakers training for the different organizations I descibed to you before, I also do plays and in the plays I have had to do different voices for my characters.I also have done musicals here in my home town and I have performed voice of sarah vaugh and nat king cole, and since I am between tenor and some alto.commercials for different channels here in detroit for the different cancer foundation and have spoke to many crowds of people.

My Studio Equipment

I have a kareoke machine with my own microphone, I would use it when I was going through my chemotherapy to keep my voice in tact plus it helped me to keep my mind busy.

Additional Skills

In my career I was a customer service rep, I spent a lot of time on the phones in that job, I was a secretary at one time, most of my jobs did consist of me on the phone a lot, I also did telemarketing, I was a scheduler for different medical facilities, on call for nursing services, like I said most of my jobs kept me on the phone or dealing with the public, I was guest on differnt shows and had to speak on my experience with breast cancer and how to help others, is what I do now.
