Voice Description

What most people like best about my voice, is that I have a large range and can dial in what a director is looking for pretty easily. I have a warm, pleasant and professional sound that works well for narration. When it comes to commercials, I can be the hippest Mom, the voice that cares about your health plan, sell you the house of your dreams or be the snarky saleswoman or disgruntled customer. As far as accents go, I'm adept at many of the British, Aussie, S. African dialects and I'm very strong with NY, Southern and Texas regional dialects as well.

My Voice Experience

Having done my very first VO while a Sr. in High School, I've been doing this for a very long time. I have specialized in character voices, ADR/looping and worked on many hit TV shows and on Feature Films, including Melrose Place for 7 seasons. My voice can be heard in many games, including Jump Back for Knowledge Adventure, where I am the voice of a little girl athlete and a purple hippo!

My Training

Over the years I have trained in various workshops in Houston, Texas and now, in Los Angeles.

I also teach voiceover to beginners, which is something I truly enjoy. I help them produce their professional demos as well.

My background is very strong in the music industry, as I have been a publicist for several famous bands and currently have my own licensing company for Indy music artists, called Imaginary Friends Music Partners (www.imaginaryfriends.com).
