My voice is suited to illicit many different emotions from listeners! It can be sweet and flirtatious, smooth and professional, curios and childlike or serious and informative. My singing voice is mature, refined and versatile. Perfect for anything from a disney character to opera singer or even a child. IT is sensous and low when needed but just as convincing as a young and eager child. I am fantastic at immitating female singers such as Barbara Streisand, SAndy Patty, Kelly Clarkson, Faith Hill, Stevie Nicks and more!

My Voice Experience

My story begins as a young girl studying music performance in highscool. The first time someone noticed my voice was a teacher who singled me out as her protege. She encouraged me and led me down a path of musical entertainment that has continued with me through adulthood. After highschool, Ithen went on to college where my studies of acting, singing and peformance led me to my first stage experiences. I performed in such musicals as The Pajama Game, The Sound of Music, and Godspell. I will never forget the comment of my Ear Training professor when she said " you have a fantastic voice, it is pleasnt to listen to and you could make money with it!" Currently I own my own studio where I am the professor. I teach children from the age of infancy in Mommy and Me classes, through adulthood as a voice coach. My husband and I perform together at many wedding ceremonies throughout the year. When we meet with couples, the response is always emotional. We always have a box of tissue handy! In these ways, my voice makes me my living. I have no formal experience in voice overs but everyone must start somewhere. I do believe that I have posess the ability to illicit a great emotional response from listeners and this is not a gift that everyone can claim. I have a very outgoing personality with great acting, singing, and communications skills as well as recording capabilities here in my studio! I am a hard worker, eager learner and very disciplined. I hope that someone, somewhere is willing to take a chance with me.

My Training

I have taken highschool as well as college level performing arts classes including, voice, acting, musical theatre, marketing and psychology. I have also served as a director of musical productions, voice and acting coach. I am the Worship leader at my church and speak regularly to the congregation. MY husband and I perform together at about 50 weddings per year. Frequently there is not a drey eye in the hosue!

Additional Skills

People throughout my life have told me that my voice is "sexy", "pleasant to listen to", as well as "emotionally provoking". I have now decided to try and get some work doing voice overs etc.. My husband and I own a small recording studio.
