My Voice Experience

I have been the face and the voice of several companies as a front desk receptionist and have extensive customer service skills including speaking clearly, effectively, empathetically, and patiently.

One co-worker described my voice as so pleasing that if I told someone to kiss off, they could hear it as a compliment.

While working at an answering service, I recorded many after-hours phone messages.

My Training

I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. My voice experience began in 1989, when I was hired as a receptionist. As the voice of the company, I received repeated compliments about how pleasant my voice is to listen to.

My phone voice experience expanded while I enjoyed employment at an answering service. There, every call was a live performance.

As I review my employment history, my voice has been the common denominator.

Although my experience is not conventional for the voice over industry, it is how I will begin my voice over career.
