Beth Crowther

Voice Description

Communicate a warm, informed confidence for narrations.

I have been an avid reader and storyteller since childhood and can read with captivating style for audiobooks.

I have a broad specturm of sound for commercials - from fun & flirty to sexy & enticing, from comedic & silly to best friend & trustworthy.

I have a background in adult education & training, workshop facilitation and public speaking which have honed my voice to be smooth, confident and professional for presentations.

For animation and games I can conjure up a wide range of creative and original character voices.

My Voice Experience

While I'm new to the industry in a formal capacity, I have spent considerable coached time on the mic this year through regular weekly VO classes and workshops.

I got my start in voicework forever ago when I was in university... I co-hosted a late night radio show at the University of Waterloo station CKMS-FM.

Since then I've spent countless hours imitating radio spots, watching tv shows with the volume off and adding my own voiceovers, and reading bedtime stories to my friends' kids with panache.
