My Home Base

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Heavy and guttural Russian sounding dialect.
Funny imitation of an Indian speaking sales person.
Filipino accent when speaking English. You know
how it is, the P is pronounced as an F and the F is
pronounced as a P with a slightly lillting tone.
My Voice Experience
I have a very comprehensive experience in all aspects of voice overs. For 17 years I was the voice over announcer of Channel 7 in Manila, Philippines and 4 years in Channel 4 also in Manila, Philippines. Announcing both in the Filipino language and in English which is the second language in the Philippines. I have done countless commercials, narrations, voice over presentations and voice over for cable and tv programs. Again in English and Tagalog or Filipino. I was dubbed as "The Man with the Golden Voice" in the voice over community in the Philippines. I have been residing in the states for over 20 years now. Currently, I am the voice over of Illinois Tool Works answering phone system, doing voicemail greetings.
My Training
I started out as a local DJ with ABS-CBN in the Philipines. Then transferred to television, with Channel 7 as their in house tv anncr. Doing, Station ID, local program promos and intro, extro voice overs. Pretty soon I was already doing commls, documentary narrations and live on stage or voice over announcements. These are all done in English or in Filipino. My english has no filipino accent, if I want to. I have stayed with the Philipine TV networks for over 17 years before moving to the U.S. Since then, while in the U.S. I have done numerous voice overs for commercials and other live intro voice overs for on stage concerts and presentations.
My Studio Equipment
I don't have a fancy equipment or recording studio.
What I have right now is a Sony Vaio notebook computer and a uni-directional WM-360 Microphone in a stand, in my basement. The microphone is inputted into the computer
and the computer serves as the recorder. After the recording, I would choose several good cuts and send them via email with attachments to my Producer who is based in San Francisco, in a cable network, He would do
post-production enhancements to it and voila!
It's on the air already and sounding great.
Additional Skills
While residing here in the States, I have attended several workshops in Los Angeles, training for animated voice overs,to enhance my skills in doing creature or cartoon voice overs. In Las Vegas, I have done several, live voice overs for live concerts and presentations with On Stage Production Company based in Los Angeles.
If it is relevant at all, I do photography with my Nikon
digital camera and shoot video with a Hitachi Digital video camera. Mostly, of the social nature, like parties,
get togethers, weddings, birthdays etc...
