Voice Description
Educated American accent that can also bend to fit a New York / Bronx accent. My voice can be warm and deep for narrations or smooth and professional for presentations. Decades of professional speaking and court room nuance have helped me put a lot of emotion and substance into my diction, popping my meaning and bringing gravitas to even simple lines.
I don't speak Swedish or German fluently, but I studied them for years and can read those languages out loud with wonderful effect.

My Voice Experience
My experience is varied. I was a master debater for almost 20 years, almost winning the World Championships on two occasions. Then I went on to work for Coca-Cola as a language specialist, helping the various presidents of the company speak better. This was followed by a couple of years in Washington DC writing speeches and teaching senators to speak like Coke executives. Then I walked the planet for 4 years, ending back in Dublin, my home away from home.
My work history involves 3 years of professional radio work as a DJ and presenter, almost 20 years as a debater and parliamentary debater, two years of providing freelance voice work for Coca-Cola (in Madrid) and US political parties (in Washington DC).
My Training
My education for doing voice over work has been mostly accidental or supplementary to my other interests. I began taking speech giving classes at age 12 due to a stutter, and I quickly got into Toastmasters and professional debating. I acted on stage for 2 years (primarily in Shakespearian productions), then I went into radio to pay the bills, and I stuck for 3 years as a DJ on a popular radio station in Austin, Texas. I became their regional promotions tool, going to every barbeque and ribbon cutting to light up the crowd and give the event an air of occasion. Years later, I worked with Coca-Cola, primarily teaching and showing, but also doing radio spots and video voice overs for corporate clips and small presentations of new product (virtually all in-house).
While in Washington DC, I worked with the a major political party in more radio spots and voice overs for local political rallies and "issue speeches."

Additional Skills
I have a good amount of experience in speaking and voice overs which I would like to expand. Also, I spend a great deal of time writing, both speeches and prose. This skill has helped me speak with greater effect and understand better how to transfer meaning in statements.
I have experience in production and development as well as speaking, and I follow through every project until we have it just the way we want it. My experience in the legal profession as well as acting and speechwriting have given me huge respect for top notch work, and I enjoy producing that at that level.
