Having worked with children in dance for many years I have had to use animation and enthusiasm within my voice, face and actions no matter how I personally feel. I am also able to adapt to different childrens age ranges, having to teach from ages 2-16 I have to be able to adapt to their different abilities to listen to different words and how much enthusiasm they will need to encourage and excite them, there's no point talking to a 10 year old like a 4 year old as they'll just feel like you are taking the mick as well as vice versa, a 4 year old wont understand some of the language and different take on enthusiasm you need to have with a 10 year old. A few childrens voice over artists occassionally don't understand this.
I have also worked extensively in promotions! Where obviously here every company wants to be promoted in the best light to their target audience. This also requires me to adapt- for example; working for the NHS their target audience was for the over 50s so I had to be more mature and intelligent in the way I projected myself whereas working for Vodka Revolutions their audience was the under 25s so I had to be much more relaxed, young and cool using language that they could relate too whilst also remaining professional for the look of the company.
