Voice Description
My range is very wide. That may sound cliché, but in this case, it's true. I can sound like a young man on the street, then switch to a menacing, deep villain. I can switch from a dumb, country bumpkin to a haughty upper-crust noble. Or I can just be "a guy". I can be warm and deep, smooth and professional, subtle and introspective, and zany and over the top, just to name a few. I'm a trained actor and was taught to be able to do many different things. I also used to sing in musicals professionally, so my voice has clarity, diction and stamina - but I'm also able to relax all of that and sound like a "normal" guy.

My Voice Experience
I began talking at a very early age, when I was a child, so I consider that getting an early start. Started voice-over in 1996 in Chicago. I have done hundreds of commercials, a handful of video games, a few live announcements, industrials, was the live announcer for the Jeff-Award winning stage musical "Forever Plaid" in Chicago, and appeared as a radio voice on the TV show "Jericho"
I have been the national spokesman for Buffalo Wild Wings, Butterfinger Crisp, Burger King, Red Lobster, Evinrude Motors, Partnership for a Drug-Free America, Surge/Coca-Cola, and regional spokesman for Rubio's Baja Grill. One of my ads for Partnership for a Drug-Free America won awards and went to the commercial festival in Cannes, France. I was the lead voice of the video game "Blazing Angels".
I have done everything from spokesman roles to funny characters to "guy next door" and instructional voices. I can do and have done it all.
My Training
Graduated with a theatre degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL (Chicago). I've been trained by Cathy Kalmenson (voice-over for professionals), Andrea Romano (animation), and David Lewis (voice-over for professionals). I trained at The Second City Training Center in Chicago and have acting training from Michael Woolson and Uta Hagen.
My Studio Equipment
I currently do not have a studio room, but I have a Samson C03U microphone and Audacity software to record audition-quality recordings.
