My Voice Experience

Although I have no experience in voice-overs, per se, I have been approach by several of my peers and communicated with those whom I talked with for the first time (I worked as an operator for AT&T) that I have a very demanding and pronounced voice and that I should do something with it. Several of them have also asked if I have ever done any radio/television work or if I ever done some singing. I have responded by saying "no" and they suggested that I seek out a career in this field.

As mentioned before, I worked for AT&T as a Toll-Free Directory Operator for seven years and there wasn't a day or two that went by since I have been working there that someone commented on how authoritive and pronouced my voice sounded. I can honestly admit that I have ignored their suggestions only because I was either into other fields or I didn't think I would be able to succeed in the voice-over field. After all these years I felt that I should move ahead and exploit my voice and hopefully succeed.
