Voice Description

I have a naturally warm voice which I can alter for many different characters/impersonations. Due to my extensive training in theater and on camera work, I can portray emotion easily and convincingly. With my extensive work in Voice Over I can accommodate most directions with regards to time frame, clarity, emphasis, etc. . My credits for Voice Over work range from commercial to industrial to video games and webisodes, with all many different styles of vocal delivery.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Most American and British dialects, most international accents, many different pop culture celebrity impersonations such as: President Obama, Keanu Reeves, David Bowie, Woody Allen, Ian McKellan, Anthony Hopkins, Bob Dylan, Jack Nicholson, c-3PO and Al Pacino to name a few. Several older celebrity impersonations include Katherin Hepburn, James Mason, Peter O'Toole, Lawrence Olivier, Richard Burton, and Marlon Brando to name even fewer.

My Voice Experience

I was featured in two Bethesda video games entitled Star Trek:Legacies and Star Trek:Conquest. I have narrated radio and TV spots for Haynes furniture, the United States Army, VA Farm Bureau, Circuit City, and several others. I also have recorded narration for short films and projects for the Public Broadcasting Station. Voices have ranged from irate citizens, dooming narrators, to ebullient innocents! Most all recordings occured in the studios of B.E.S., Metro Productions, John Hancock Studios, and PBS, respectively.

My Training

I graduated in 1994 from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Fine Arts.
I attended several SAG conservatory classes and workshops at the American Film Insitute for acting/voice over in 2010 and 2011.
I attended an improv class taught by Kat Shea in Hollywood, in 2010.
From 1994 to 2000 I immersed myself in independent projects- see IMDB- for on the job training!
