Voice Description

I have done every kind of vo work from audiobooks to narration and commercials to animation. My voice has a warm soothing texture- especially for medical copy. I also have an intelligence to my voice for financial or documentary copy. And I have great comic timing from all those Broadway musicals. If you need a character voice I can do that-but if you need a clean trusting voice -that is also my strong suit. I know how to do many accents-Russian-All British-Irish-German-French are just a few. But first and foremost I have a believable voice. In other words, it is a versatile voice. Take a listen to my demos. That's the best way to hear what I am saying.

My Voice Experience

Broadway actress for many years. Both Musicals and Drama. And I have done television as well. I have been doing voiceover for 20 years. Mostly commercials-of every type. City of Hope, Medical City, Coldwell Banker, Sega, to name a few. Also much narration- including a documentary on herbalism for PBS. I have done many childrens recordings-playing evil empresses and warm loving mommies. I was the first recorded voice of Nancy (of Nancy and Sluggo fame). Infomercials-Fit After 40.

My Training

Graduate of Boston University School of Fine Arts, Acting, where I studied voice for 4 years. I started doing voiceover before I studied it, but since then have taken many classes. In animation, commercial, promo, and narration. Attended the Audiobook Job Market. I am a singer as well.
