My Voice Experience

I use my voice professionally on a daily basis in the medical field. I am also a teacher, presenting health related in-services. I teach and coach one on one with patients and staff.

My voice is my main tool to instruct, cajole and encourage students of all ages in my many yoga classes. I need them to follow my instructions and must speak with clarity and calm authority to instill trust. Trust allows them to release and let go of stress as I close each class with a guided mediation using only my voice to lead them on an inner journey.

My Training

I have completed the masters program through "Such A Voice" voice over training. I have also completed a series called "Finding Your Voice" with voice coach Wrenn Ross. I continue to work with my voice over coach to improve my skills and widen my appeal.

Additional Skills

As a teacher, physical therapist, writer and yoga instructor I use my voice professionally every day. I have a good command of the English language with a degree in English Literature.

I tailor each approach to reach a different audience accordingly. I am versatile,flexible and able to adapt to ever-changing situations on short notice. I think this is a skill that will translate effectively to my voice over work.
