Additional Skills
I am a classically trained actor with a successful early career in British theatre playing a wide range of roles in comedies, children's theatre and Shakespeare. i recently returned to acting and have made a number of short films, often playing a mother.
I took an extended break to focus on family & teach English & Drama; I found my vocal dexterity a great asset in holding students' attention. I resigned my role as Head of Drama in a selective 11-18 school last August to pursue my own creative ventures.
I have owned & run an award-winning restaurant with my husband, through which I have gained experience in business and marketing. My husband is now Communications and Fundraising Director for a major charity, which helps me keep in tune with the latest developments in the world of marketing and communications.
