My Voice Experience

Actress, writer, director, Barbara has worn many hats throughout her career. A featured cast member in off-Broadway productions by Bayswater Players, Barbara captured audiences with her portrayal of such diverse characters as Edith Frank, Anne's mother in Diary of Anne Frank, Kate, the self-sacrificing Jewish wife and mother in Neal Simon's "Broadway Bound," Elaine Nevazio, the "other woman" who was as frustrated with the lack of a cigarette as she was with the lack of sex in Simon's "Prisoner of Second Avenue," and Bella, a woman who is being driven out her mind by her husband in the classic melodrama "Angel Street" by Patrick Hamilton, (You may be more familiar with the screen adaptation of this play, "Gaslight," which earned Ingred Bergman her first Oscar for best actress.)

In addition to Barbara's success as an actress, she brings a wealth of experience as a writer and director to the table. In addition to working with both the very young and elderly on shows, plays and skits, Barbara was creative director for a New York agency, Harrison Leifer DiMarco for a decade. She wrote and directed numerous radio spots for accounts such as Harvey Electronics and Midcoast Mortgage Company.

It is Barbara's ability to interpret scripts, understand and take direction, and create believable and memorable characters that distinguishes her voiceover projects.
