My Voice Experience

1. Many say when that they hear me answer the phone professionally i.e. "Thank you for calling, this is Aziz, how can I help you?", they first startle and think it is an answering machine recording

2. I used to work as a PBX operator at a hotel (Hilton Naples & Towers, Naples, FL in 2001) and because of the "professional" voice etiquette the hotel obtained praise from Dun & Bradstreet

3. I have the ability to control the conversation with a tone of my voice. I can express feelings simply by adjusting the pitch and tone, and selecting precise words. I can get my point across quite quickly and effortlessly especially with someone who has trouble understanding English (non-English speakers), due to one simple reason: I can pick up different accents quickly and speak the same level of English as the speaker.

4. 99% of the time, I am told I sound like a 45+ person, who seems to have a lot of experience and authority. (I am 30, happens all the time in over the phone conversations)

5. My personal experience in human psychology provides me with excellent ability to solve stressful situations over the phone. I am very good at persuading and calming people on/off the phone.

Worked at a recording studio (my father owned one) since I was 8 years old.

I create my own music, write songs and recently started singing.

I used to play violin and piano.

I have very sensitive hearing and thus able to pick up almost any accent, and after a short rehearsal can produce a different voice with a different accent, mood, tone and/or pitch.
