Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I am first and foremost comfortable with any upper class English form any time period, including various old-fashioned styles (such as Jane Austen English), perfect for historical programmes or narration. I have studied English Language Change in depth for the past year and therefore have a great understanding of English over the ages.
Having just completed French and German A Levels with predicted A grades, I am fully capable of imitating either French or German accents in English, both of which I have great experience with. I can appreciate the subtleties of different accents with varying degrees of strength and can do more than just one generic accent for each language. Authentic intonation of these languages is of course also something I would incorporate.
I can also provide a great number of British accents from the sweet, innocent Scottish or Welsh of a young lady to upper class drawl or an English middle aged lady.
Irish, Australian and American accents are also ones I can replicate comfortably and convincingly.
With great singing versatility, I can move from classical to pop with ease. My specialty is ballads.

My Voice Experience

Having just finished my A-Levels, I am new to this career, but what I lack in experience will be more than made up for with raw voice talent, enthusiasm, diligence, intelligence and flexibility.

My Training

I have just finished my A levels in French, German, Latin, English Language and Ancient History. I am a linguist at heart with a great understanding of spoken language. With spot on accents in both my foreign languages, I have an understanding of how to fit my voice to any task.
My languages A Levels have given me the ability to perform confidently and effectively orally.
My English language A Level has made me very familiar with advertising language and various advertising styles, and has ensured that my grammar is perfect and my RP is flawless. My study of English language change over the ages makes me perfect for work requiring a replication of any old fashioned English.

I am currently just beginning a gap year between A Levels and university, after which I hope to take up the place offered to me by the University of Cambridge to read French and Arabic.
