My Voice Experience

As a mom and library assistant, I enjoy reading stories and bringing the characters to life! I am always making up character voices and even little songs for the characters. It would be great to utilize this ability on voiceover projects.
Recording is a hobby I've had since my first tape recorder at age 7 when I would make up my own "radio" programs with a silly over-the-top "Casey Kasem" character I called K-K-D-J.
As a musician, I know how important expression is, I live for it and some of my recording capabilities really shine on my first CD released 12/2009 "From My Soul"
Since it is getting radio play, I have been asked by promoters and DJ's to create custom radio spots. It's been so enjoyable, I would like to do more.

My Training

I am a performer, I conduct my own shows so I am very comfortable as a personality in front of people, not only as a singer and saxophonist, but as a solo performer, I rely on my personality and voice to interact directly with my audience.
As a singer, saxophonist and songwriter, using my many voices is natural and fun for me. As a mom, I love to entertain my young son and his classmates by reading stories with my many voices!

Vista 64-bit quad core workstation with Cubase 4.5.2, numerous VSTs, a Yamaha USB recording interface with 1-touch compression and 48+ phantom power for my large diaphragm studio condenser mic (Sterling Audio ST-51, a huge library of effects and pre-amp processors.

Additional Skills

I am a professional musician and recording artist, I also can do audio and visual editing. My "day" job also is a professional graphic artist and have extensive experience in advertising and marketing communications. A good script and good copy is so important to any project!
