I have superior voice control. I majored in voice and drama throughout my education.
I'm currently a Writer and Director of Marketing for a local radio show.
I record and provide read-in ads for www.drdaveandbiggun.com radio show.
I've lived in California, Connecticut, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Nashville, and now a suburb of Houston TX. I have a strong grasp on the English language and various dialects throughout the country.
I'm a natural imitator. My range is a broad Bass-Soprano.
My voice is naturally smooth, deep, and warm. I naturally tailor my voice depending on who I'm conversing with, speaking to, and what I'm speaking about.
I'm strongly motivated and have never missed a deadline in my life.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Because I've lived all over the country, I'm able to imitate many regionally specific accents.
Southern Accent: Very natural and easy for me to produce. My Southern accent is warm, inviting, sweet, convincing, non-confrontational. I tend to use this voice to "turn on the charm" when needed. I've spent the majority of my life living in the South and the New England/Northeast. My Southern Accent often breaks the ice quickly and allows people to feel that they're on a level playing field with me. They tend to be more open, honest, and willing to work with me.
I use this accent in much of the work I do now that I'm working and living in Texas. This voice has, naturally, a motherly or grandmotherly feel.
I am a 30 year old white female, however, I'm very believeable as an African American woman. I've worked with, lived with, and associated with countless African American communities. I never have difficulty switching on my "black" voice and sounding genuine.
I don't speak fluent spanish, however, I've tutored and worked with many many hispanic americans. Puerto Rican, Dominican, Mexican. When given a script in these spanish dialects, I'm completely confident in reading/understanding/memorizing/performing believeably.
I speak "New Yorker", New England, Baltimore/Philly, Gulf Coast Houston as well.

I've worked in many different facets of radio production. I currently write and record read-ins for a radio show.
I do a lot of public speaking for my own businesses as well as for local non-profits.
I'm very interested in adding Voice Over to my "toolbox". It will only further enhance my current goals.
