Voice Description

As a singer and stage actress, my voice is very versatile. I use my diaphram to control my breathing, sound quality and syllable accentuation. I have impeccable diction, but can also speak in english cockney, english aristrocratic, jive or hip-hop slang, latino, southern and jamican accents. I can also do infant or baby voices as well. I can do corporate presetations and playful, fun commercials.

My Voice Experience

Most recently I had my own radio show on two different stations in Louisville, KY. #1: 101.3-Jazz/R&B- weekdays 12am to 6am, #2 B96-Hip-Hop/Top 40-Sunday's 2pm to 6pm I have also done various commercial voiceovers within these shows, as well as commercial voiceovers for various Christian stations in Louisiana. I have voiced countless corporate greetings,hold messages and company directories, even though I was hired for completely different positions. Once a manager would hear my voice, they would immediately sit me down at a phone, a panel or in a booth.

My Training

I actually have no formal training as an actual voice actor, HOWEVER, I attended University of Houston, as a music major and have trained in classical/operatic, and pop styles of music...and don't forget my ON THE JOB, training at the Radio staion in Lousville...they threw me in the booth, counted me down and I had to make it work LIVE!!! Hopeully that will count for somehting!

Additional Skills

I was also in the US Army,and was consistantly chosen to call cadence for 60 up to 240 soldiers for morning, noon and dinner marches to the eating facility and the physical training area. This required great breathing technique,(as I was marching with them!) and vocal resonance.
