Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

The accents I pursue are southern, British, Brooklyn, Australian, Cockney. I can do high pitched, soft-speaking, tomboyish or feminine voices, also grumpy voices. I can do impersonations of cartoons that exist, like Powerpuff Girls, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and also Gollum from Lord of the Rings.

My Voice Experience

My voice talent began when I made "fandubs" of my favorite animated series by recording the voice of a certain character and attaching the audio to the video of the scene. In summer 2008, I visited a few radio stations in my hometown area and voice-recorded a multiple commercial ads. I jobshadowed at a Beasley Broadcasting Inc. for two summers. I attended and graduated the Savannah College of Art & Design, majoring in performing arts. I voiced different characters in many student animated shorts and pilot episodes. I am currently involved as a voice actress in a few independent animated projects from outside of my home state, in which one of them I am voicing in along with well-known anime voice actors like Chuck Huber and Vic Mignogna.

My Training

I graduated from Savannah College of Art & Design with a bachelors degree in fine arts, majored in performing arts and minored in sound design. I took a voiceover seminar with Don Morrow and also an anime voice acting class with Crispin Freeman. I interned at Beasley Broadcasting in radio for two summers. I have learned more about voice acting through professionals, podcasts, interviews, and books.

My Studio Equipment

In the meantime, I often use Garageband on my Macbook for audio recording. I have a AT3035 cardiod condenser mic and a US-144 USB/Audio interface. Im considering further updating.
