I was always told that I had a great voice but it wasn't until college when I worked as a newscaster on WIDR-FM that I believed it! After working there for a year, I decided that since one of my favorite things to do is run my mouth...I NEEDED to keep using my voice! Since college I have had the opportunity to announce shows over the loud system at my church on many occasions and I often narrate and read aloud while teaching young people. I am ready to do more!
I have a degree in Broadcast and Cable Production from Western Michigan University. There I learned speaking techniques that I can practice in everyday life and have become a habit when speaking generally, in front of audiences, and in one on one instances.
I minored in Spanish and studied in Costa Rica and therefore have picked up the Spanish dialect and therefore can read and repeat Spanish conversations though I cannot speak Spanish fluently.
I also had training with a production engineer for FM98WJLB in Detroit and learned much valuable information!
I am very in touch with my emotions and therefore can convey just about any emotion requested of me.
