A very real midwestern/southern "every" woman for commercials. Southern accents are my speciality, and I can tune it to many specific locations with detailed intelligence range.
Warm and friendly for narrations to personality driven. Great with characters, from little boys with lots of enthusiasm to terpy or slithery evil villians. A silky sexy voice thats not too deep, and has a hint of chocolate.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Southern Tennesee (Gone with the wind), to a mountain style (Slingblade), to more authentic and current (Sweet Home Alabama) accents.
Australian and New Zealand accents, its a subtle difference, but both are very adventurous sounding.
Great "jewish mother" character, as well as New Yorkeez
Pretty decent Marge Simpson, Bjork, Bart Simpson, Ethyl Merman and Joan Rivers impersonations.

My Voice Experience

After a few years of improv calsses and theater in Atlanta, Ive decided to take the skills and characters I created there, to VO work. I am fresh out of classes and havent actually gotten work yet, but Im excited for YOU to be my first gig! You will be so impressed how well I take direction and how accurately I can perform.

My Training

IN Atlanta I took "Nick Contis Actors Studio" intermediate classes as well as a Screenwriting bootcamp (Also an excellent writer).
Did Improv classes at "Dads Garage" as well as "Whole World Theater".
Nick Omana at VoicePrint West.
Since Ive been a hair and makeup artist on set for 16 years now, the performances I see on the tv commercials and videos I work on and understand the workings of a job from all prespectives (Ive even been a producer) and I feel this experience keeps my performance creatively driven, fun and untainted.

My Studio Equipment

My neighbor has a great studio I can borrow within a day or so depending on notice and availability, he has Logic Pro, Apogee COnverter, UA LA610 pre, EV RE20. He has a PC, I have MAC.
At home I have a Sennheiser mic, tascam dr100, Final cut Pro, and garage band. (My husband is a DP/Director).
