Voice Description

My voice has a smoothness and warmth which seems best suited for narration like that of a story teller. I seem to have an inate feel for what the line should sound like and being a librettist, I have a lyrical melodic tendency which comes from my singing. I have a slant towards musical theater and perhaps books on tape/ talking books and on going narration projects. I feel my voice would
not be right for any hard or abrasive type of material.
I believe I have a professional sound which could be useful in many areas of voice over recording.

My Voice Experience

My experience as a writer of musical plays and studio demo recording has helped to open the door to a new and exciting field, that of Voice Over recording. I have had a record on the air and done some Voice Overs for radio, connercials and narration associated with the plays now being produced.I offer my services as a librettist/lyricist a may be of help in writing scripts for your VO projects.

My Training

I have studied classical voice with Dr Owen Duggan and Ms. Karen Gonzales. As a voice chosen to represent your company , product or service, I realize my voice will be the first impression anyone will have, and I will work to make the impression you desire.

My Studio Equipment

My personal recording (home office) will be limited to comptuer recording.I also work with a local recording studio for more finished work, and they have the ability to devlier the material via computer or per your request.

Additional Skills

I write lyrics, poetry and music. I have the ability to write songs on just about any subject, for example. I recently wrote a song at the suggestion of a member of the San Antonio Symphony to "welcome Toyota" to our area. It would be Hard to write a good song about a factory, so I chose a theme by which our blended cultures,
English, Japanese and
Hispanic who will work together,and will
hopefully help us toward building not just a better truck, but a "Better World".
