My Voice Experience

I have recorded voiceovers for educational podcasts in astronomy. I have been a professional singer and M.C. in bluegrass bands for several years.

My Training

My voice training has been for singing and started when I was a young girl with my father (also a professional musician) teaching me how to use breathing techniques to project my voice and how to listen for the right pitch and harmonize. This extended into a life-long study of singing, including attending workshops given by singers I admire, watching instructional DVDs, attending concerts and constant practice, as well as singing in public as much as possible with bands and as a solo artist.
