Voice Description

I have what I consider to be a versatile voice. I have been slightly trained (two years musical theatre) but have been playing with inflections and narrratives ever since I was little. I'd be very interested in doing voice-overs for cartoons, radio and commercial purposes. I am very open to whatever projects may be out there and am eager and excited to get started!

*I have a few demos, wma clips that cannot be uploaded to this site. They are simply of my regular voice high and low, as well as a few different accents/dialects. I will be more than happy to email them to you, and make specialized demos of whatever your project requires.*

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I can do british (cockney and high society) and a middle american accent (think joan crawford or the movie "drop dead gorgeous) as well as a killer Southerner and decent "ghetto" fabulous. I am however GOOD at imitating almost any accent with enough exposure or time to study the nuances, remember, my voice has been my main sources of entertainment over the years...I strive for versatility and welcome a challenge!!!!

My Voice Experience

No previous work to speak of, unless you count making my friends die with laughter... I am new to the professional performance world and am looking to find that legendary "big break". voice acting is something I have wanted to do for a long time, and I feel that it may be my true calling.

My Training

Two years of musical theatre at Mars Hill College in North Carolina, and a lifetime of singing and doing imitations and dialects. This isn't something I was taught, it was something I was born with.

My Studio Equipment

No studio yet! perhaps in time... Hopefully though I will be travelling to a studio to do voice-over work because I'd think that typically t.v. and radio spots aren't recorded in the home of the performer.

Additional Skills

First of all, I am an ambitious and hard-working person who is willing to go as far as needed to fit the right job. I have quickly adapted to many professions I was not previously skilled at like cooking (from no exp. to cooking in a 4 star steakhouse), waiting tables, and sales in a retail evironment. thus, I feel that in a fun "job" like voice acting I would thrive, considering that it is something I actually have true passion for. I am mainly looking for work in the animation field, but I would equally enjoy radio or commericial jobs as well. I KNOW that if given the right opportunity, I WILL be the next great voice actor/actor.
