Voice Description

Warm and deep for narration. Yet friendly as conversational for radio. I can be smooth for presentations. I have a comical, and sarcastic tone to my voice that can be funny. I also can speak in monotone, which is both dry and plain. I could also be fun for commercials. Sometimes I'll pretend to do the famous deep voice for movie trailers. I have a very diverse range of voices, from high to low, and many impersonations.

My Voice Experience

Not much, I recorded an Air Check demo while I was interning at SiriusXM Satellite radio in New York City during the Spring of 2011. The demo is 11 tracks of my recordings for the 80s on 8 channel.

Recently my friend John Mingione who works for 106.1 BLI had my other friend Ben Horney and me make an audio recording for the radio station about our opinions on Fast Food French Fries including McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, White Castle, and Five Guys. We gave each french fry taste test a rating from 1 to 10. It was to raise awareness on the selling of the "new" Burger King French Fries. My voice was heard on the radio for about 2 minutes.

My Training

I graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. Besides the internship, I was taught a bit about voice over work in one of my classes. I took Radio TV Performance with Brett Barry, a known voice over actor for mainly commercials or promos. He taught me how to project my voice in a positive way. He also told me how to speak into a microphone, by not getting too close or else your 'p's and 'b's will have a puff sound. I also took Intro to Acting which helped me to get out of my shiness and too express myself theatrically with both the voice and the body.

Additional Skills

I have a Bachelor's Degree in journalism. I am a talented writer, both for news and creativity. I can very funny on camera since I have been featured in many of my friend's (John Mingione) short comedic sketches over the years. When I sing songs I will usually try to mimic the lead singer.
