Voice Description

A unique tone with a likable quality which tends to go into a higher range when excited (think George Costanza, or Daniel Stern). Able to reach lower ranges for character voices like Homer Simpson.

Ideal for funny commercials with an interchange of characters. Also well suited for IVR Voice Prompts, Messages On Hold and Educational Training.

I would say that while I don't have what some would call a natural "announcer" voice I do have great timing, a knack for interpretation and the ability to produce a wide range of voices that don't sound the same.

My Voice Experience

I recently auditioned against 18 other male talents for a Big Spoon Yogurt commercial and was selected to voice a radio spot that aired on 6 local stations.

I can currently be heard at a theme park in Georgia as the voice of Jesse James (no, not the motorcycle guy).

I produced an instructional video in which I played host to an roofing expert.

While my professional experience is only recent, I was a lead player in many theater performances in school. I've since held many professional positions in training and management which required a great deal of public speaking, presenting and moderating.

My Training

I've attended many workshops at a local studio that produces professional media for a national wireless communications company.

My Studio Equipment

I record using the Heil PR30 in a studio in my home office. I use Mogami mic cables, a Joemeek VC3Q Pre and an M-Audio Interface for a crisp sound with practically zero unwanted noise. I use Sony Sound Forge and Acid. I incorporate many custom plug-in's to assist with compression, fx, mixing, etc.
