Voice Description

My everyday voice is usually quite friendly, and speeches I give tend to be very relaxing to the listeners. I can pretty much to any kind of voice, be it actor impersonations, stereotypes (cowboy, redneck, etc), and especially singers. I love to sing and impersonate my favorite artists.

My Voice Experience

Ever since I was eight or nine years old, I've partook in a ministry school that teaches the student to speak with the six "p"s: pitch, power, pase, punctuation, pronunciation, and pausing.

I've spoken to audiances on numerous occasions, both at this ministry school and my elementary/high school. I grew up with public speaking, so stage fright never posed a problem wih me.

I excelled at English in school, and recieved an award for excellence in Dramatic Arts. In Drama, we did assignments involving "radio plays", in which we create a play using only our voices (Since I got stuck with the lazier students, it was up to me to write out the entire script, perform the voices for at least four characters, and provide all the sound effects). I've participated in several school plays/variety shows, and once performed a Johnny Cash cover alone in front of a live audience.

I've always had a passion for music, and I've written a few songs myself that have recieved very positive feedback. I'm always found singing randomly (Can't help it!).

I love watching Anime and reading Manga, and my friends and I are always having fun trying to impersonate specific characters. I always did well, and that's how I developed an interest in voice acting.

So, after pondering the idea of voice acting and researching the subject, I came to the conclusion that it was the right career for me. This is something I have a true talent for, and I hope to make good use of it.

My Training

As mentioned in my Experience, I learned the majority of my acting skills from taking Dramatic Arts in high school. I even recieved an award at graduation for outstanding performance.

I learned different voice-manipulating techniques from my Choir class. Our teacher would get us to impersonate different types of singers (i.e opera, pop, etc.).

My true talents in voice acting come from personal experience, impersonating characters from tv shows and movies.
