My Voice Experience

I am just beginning work in the voice over field - looking and I'm looking for a good project to bein with. Mr. Ryan McKeever, President of Magic Hour Productions, Inc., and a client of voice 123, suggested I contact voice123 when he learned that I was interested in doing voice over work.

Magic Hour Productions is currently doing a video project for the organization I work for and Ryan has heard me give several presentations.

I am currently an administrator for a large Private Boarding School and have spent 38 years traveling for the school giving presentations and training to staff. I am looking to retire in the next couple of years and seek to begin doing voice over work on a consistent basis. I have performed some voice over work in videos for the organization I work for.

My Training

I have both an undergraduate and a Masters Degree in education. I am also a musician that plays sax and performs vocals - light jazz and have performed in a small combo over the years.

I studied vocal music at Indiana University as an undergraduate. I also write (poetry) and have just completed a CD of poetry accompanied by music.

My Studio Equipment

I use a Shure KSM27 mic with or without pop filter, and may invest in yet a higher end mic if projects call for it. I use an M-Audio interface to connect to a MacBook Pro OSX 10.6.4 and utilize a Mackie-Premium Mic line mixer to get a better balance of sound. I listen to the sound mix on Mackie Studio speakers and have a Lexicon MX200 Dual Reverb Effects Producer as well as a Antares Vocal Producer.
