My Voice Experience

No experience yet in voiceovers, but I take direction very well!!

I have had formal voice training as well as numerous customer service and receptionist positions.

I am constantly being told that I have a great speaking voice and am often asked to record voicemail greetings.

My voice was selected for a training DVD for Canon new hires.

Please give me a chance to get my foot in the door, I am sick of Karaoke and reading books aloud to my bored husband!!!

My Training

It all started when I was cast as Sandy in my high school production of Grease at age 16...

I spent 2 years at Mercer University (Macon, GA) and 1 year at University of South Florida (Tampa, FL) as a Vocal performance major, where I took classes in Diction, and received formal voice training for opera/musical theater.

I double majored in Engineering (although that's probably not relevent to this) so I am familiar with a lot of technical terms.

I also can play the clarinet, though not recently, and not at a professional level.

I have performed with the Orlando Bach Choir and the Orlando Concert Band.

Additional Skills

While this is my first attempt into this industry, it has long been a dream of mine to sing jingles and songs for commercials and radio.

I also LOVE to read books (aloud)- even manuals, and instructional books, and would love to be given the chance to be heard in any form!!!
