Voice Description
I am a professional actress, with a range of ages, characters, and dialects. I often play children and teenagers, and can give a bright and bubbly tone for commercials and narrative projects. For over a year, I have been recording podcasts for a news service, and have a warm, educated tone for editorials and presentations. I am also able to give the traditional "sexy" female voice associated with some commercials and video games.

OuloudOpinion--lead voice artist, engineer and editorial manager, 2007-present. Editorial podcasts from multiple major outlets, including Creator's Syndicate, The New Republic, Investor's Business Daily, etc.
JET Theatre--voiceovers, "The Diary of Anne Frank," 2009. I played the title character, and recorded portions of the diary for use both in the production, and in advertising.
"Something to Come Home To," short film, 2008. I played the lead female and provided a series of voiceovers, as well as re-recording dialogue to track with the existing footage.
Central Michigan University--Assistant Professor, Theatre and Speech, 2007-2008. I taught Voice and Diction, as well as several sections of intro level speech and acting classes.

MA--Theatre--Ohio State University, 2006. Focus on actor training methods, including voice training techniques, Shakespearean performance styles, and classical text.
BA--Theatre and History--Hillsdale College, 2004. Training and performance in Shakespeare, Greek tragedy, Ibsen, Chekhov, musical theatre, choral singing, polyphony, jazz voice, and opera. Introduction to Linklater voice training, Whelan voice/acting technique, and Alexander Method movement and breathing. Classes in French, German, and Latin.
