English-Geordie (from Newcastle upon Tyne in the North East)either educated or heavy on the vernacular. Liverpool, Yorkshire and Southern accents-either Cockney or "Queen's" English. Irish and Scottish accents.

My Voice Experience

I have absolutely NO experience at doing voice overs. I have lived in the United States for 23 years but have retained my British accent and am complemented by EVERYONE I converse with, about how pleasing my accent is. Some people have even commented on how they would happily pay me if I would allow them to listen to me talk all day.

This is enough of an incentive for me to at least venture out into the world (especially when I hear other native Brits employed in the media AND other Americans who don't do a particularly good job at it!)and to try and earn a little pocket money.

I an naturally friendly and confident and I love talking!

My Training

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Medieval and Modern History. I taught English in Spain and I am a Certified Paralegal, with a Civil Litigation speciality.

I have taken several courses in Spanish and am at an Intermediate level.

When younger I would perform at family functions and folk clubs,singing and playing guitar.

I currently work with Special Education students in an elementary school, so am confident of my abilities to convey information in a clear and articulate manner.

My Studio Equipment

Additional Skills

I work both inside and outside the classroom setting,mostly with individual students and small groups but occasionally with the whole class.

I am very interested in editing, proofing and reviewing anything to do with the written word and am currently involved in a project for a colleague in which I oversee the site of the content he has on his online business.

Whilst in Spain, staff members were required to give presentations to students and parents on any given subject. I have no fear of public speaking.
