Voice Description

My voice ranges from soprano to alto. In speech, I can go from sounding like a very small child to an adult woman. I can do a great rendition of the old "Tootsie Roll" commercial song, which I believe was originally sung by a child (I could be wrong). My family loves to hear me sing "Little Bunny Foo-Foo."

I've been told on numerous occasions that my voice is sexy and I can do a better phone-sex voice than anyone I've ever heard when inspired.

I can do a Hispanic accent, British accent and with a little practice, a French accent. I am of Cajun descent, so a Cajun accent comes naturally. All I have to do is think of my grandmother.

My Voice Experience

I have absolutely no experience in voice-over and have never worked specifically as a voice-over artist. Because of the constant borage of perfect strangers telling me I sound like a cartoon character over the years, I have decided perhaps I am being called to this line of work.

While working as a secretary for a group of engineers, I was asked to do all of their voice mail announcements, particularly one where they wanted me to sound like a sexy dominatrix who had them all "tied up" so that they couldn't come to the phone. They were later asked to remove the recording.

My Training

I have absolutely no training in voice-over. In fact, I am currently in my first college Speech course, learning how to deliver a professional speech.

Additional Skills

I have been in clerical jobs most of my adult life, primarily executive assistant-type, and I currently work as a medical transcriptionist from home, via digital files. At present, I do much more listening than talking. If you want someone who can speak and enunciate correctly and use correct grammar, I am your girl.
