My Voice Experience
My career in legit theatre includes mostly musical theatre and comedy, and opera, oh yes, in three languages.
My voiceover career - well, I like to think it got started when I memorized the entire recording of Stan Freberg presents The United States of America Part I, at the age of 14 and my friends used to beg me to do all the voices.
But in truth I'm just getting started in voiceover. I've taken a couple of classes in Los Angeles and believe I understand the process. I'm intuitive at self-direction, very good at cold reading, and I'm smart. Not brilliant perhaps, but definitely smart. And I have a great command of the language, or so I'm told. Four-syllable words and everything.
Watch this space for updates.

Additional Skills
I sing, legit or belt, know a great deal about traditional musical styles and literature and almost nothing about music since the '80s.
I speak, read, and write pretty fluent French and Spanish, and some marginally grammatical Italian but my accent is good.
Traveled North America and some of Asia for 11 years on the national tour of Les Miserables. Probably not relevant, but I mention it to explin my late-blooming status. If I may call it that.
Earlier I spent 15 years as a travel agent and have a LOT of tourism knowledge and interest and traveled widely for that as well.
Most recently did phone sales for a theatre company and garnered many kudos for my phone voice, if not actual sales for the company. Oh well.
Currently waiting for substitute teaching jobs, oh joy.
