My Voice Experience

I have been recording for years, a lot of singing in the studio, and have recently gotten into voiceover. My first audio book (with Hachette) just got released on 9/22/09, an Anita Shreve book called "A Change in Altitude" which had 9 accents from British to Kenyan. I have recorded informational presentations for tech companies and a sexy witch voice for a PSA. I was offered an on-air internship with the classical station WBUR when I was exploring voiceover at college in Boston. I have performed in many professional plays and musicals, from Shakespeare to Fiddler on the Roof, I'm comfortable with drama and humor and everything in between.

I have a MAC and a Snowball mic. I do not have a full studio or any soundproofing.

Additional Skills

I'm a licensed massage therapist and am familiar with many scientific terms and concepts. I'm an avid reader of a huge range of fiction and non-fiction, from romance novels to quantum physics. I studied French and Italian while training in opera and have a great ear for dialects and musicality. I take direction very well and am also a great self-starter.
