While my on-air experience were predominantly academic but hands-on, I am currently trying to lend my voice to a non-profit organization's program.
I graduated from the National Institute of Broadcasting in Toronto, and had been trained for script-reading, story telling, commercials and narrations for television and radio. Voice-enhancement was key to training and courses. Hands-on experience to basic board operation were also part of the relevant workshops.
I do use my own recording equipment for preliminary recording using a dixon dynamic vocal microphone and garage band program for preliminary editing. However, I do have easy access to the institute's recording studio for final professional recording.
While my exposure to media production were mostly visual due to my profession in the Architectural field, conveying and presenting my concepts to clients and consultants were predominantly helped by the personality and attitude I bring to the delivery of my voice.
